Colton Sullivan, Augusta Co-op Agronomy Intern

Colton, a Goochland County native, grew up outside of Rock Castle, VA on his family farming operation. After graduating from Goochland High School, Colton has been pursuing a dual degree in Agronomy and Agri-Business at Virginia Tech University.

As a senior this coming fall semester, he will continue to be active in the Virginia Tech Crops Judging Team, Agronomy Club and Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Program. Colton is also Vice President of the AGR House on campus. Additionally, Colton will be working on the Virginia Tech Dairy Farm as a Herd Specialist along with the Virginia Tech Beef Center as a Beef Specialist throughout the year.

Currently, as the Agronomy Intern at Augusta Co-op, Colton’s primary responsibilities include crop scouting, along with pest and weed identification. After graduation in 2018, he hopes to pursue a career in the agronomy field and assist on his family farming operation. In his spare time, you can find Colton hunting or fishing.
